We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Care Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to people with intellectual disabilities.
About the Job
This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the needs of each service user.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care and support services.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* A qualification at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or other relevant discipline/qualification).
* At least 2 years experience of working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability.
* CORU registration or currently in the process of obtaining CORU registration.
