The role will be based in Dublin and is responsible for primarily supporting the Head of Finance in completion of quarterly and annual IFRS and SII reporting requirements. The candidate appointed to this role will be a key member of the Ireland Finance team and will manage the financial reporting delivery (excluding IFRS17 or insurance-specific reporting) for both Group and Local statutory reporting across SI and SGRI legal entitiesWorking as part of a large finance team, you'll be involved in a range of tasks and responsibilities, including :-Contribution to delivery of quarterly management accounts for two large reinsurance entitiesOversight of the preparation of specific quarterly trial balance reconciliations (e.g. investments and investment income, FX forward currency contracts, tax) including variance analysis.Responsible for review and approval of investment related invoicesResponsible for reporting of Off Balance Sheet commitments quarterlySupport the production all tax-related deliverables, e.g. reporting, payments and filings, working with external advisors and Group tax stakeholders.
