Your role and responsibilities
Responsibilities evolve as you grow with us. Here is what you can initially expect:
Deliver an improved experience for clients with high quality, timely financial statement deliverables.
Focus on continuous improvement and collaborate with other team members to implement technology to scale financial reporting models for our clients.
Lead a professional client-centric team who will prioritise client needs, provide regular communication to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
Apply financial reporting technology on production and review tools to compress cycle times without compromising quality.
Ensure a compliance lens is applied to reduce operational risk by ensuring that the underlying deliverables meet GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate a seamless global financial reporting delivery model on global clients where other KPMG jurisdictions are involved.
Responsible for overall day-to-day execution of the project as per the agreed scope and timelines, including the production and review of financial statements in accordance with: the regulations of the fund domicile; the relevant GAAP of the Fund (primarily US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP); the constituting documents of the fund (prospectus / offering memorandum); and investment manager and/or auditor instructions.
Coordinate the year-end financial statement process and ensure all investment manager and auditor queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Prepare board reports and present at Board Meetings.

KPMG are looking for a dynamic qualified accountant to join our Financial Reporting Solutions Team. You will primarily be responsible for delivering reporting solutions to asset managers and fund administrators, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration to design and implement technology to scale these financial reporting models.
You will join a group of enthusiastic individuals who work well as a team and embody the KPMG values. KPMG offers flexibility to thrive professionally and pursue other passions, with team members also driving sustainability within the funds industry.
Following induction, team members will continue their training journey through technical training and a variety of talent development sessions and digital learning solutions to enable their development of skills.
