Conveyancing Legal Secretary Role Overview
Job Description:
Our highly regarded law firm in Swords, Co Dublin is seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to our team of conveyancing solicitors. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team;
* Preparing and amending legal documents, contracts, and correspondence;
* Managing incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner;
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties;
* Opening, closing, and archiving client files in accordance with firm procedures;
* Maintaining accurate records and file management systems;
* Assisting with the preparation of completion statements and post-completion matters;
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will need to have:
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing (residential or commercial);
* Strong dictaphone typing skills;
* Proficiency with legal case management systems;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
* Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload;
* A professional, discreet, and client-focused approach;
* A team player with a proactive attitude.
