Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Senior Meeting and Events Sales Executive will be responsible for maximizing the sales potential and achieving the Meeting and Events sales targets of the hotel.
Benefits Free employee meals on duty50% Off F&B in all properties€/£60 employee rate on rooms for all Dalata-owned hotels30% off Friends & Family rateExtra AL day for every year worked (5 extra days to a maximum of 5 days)Employee Assistance Programme.Cycle to Work Scheme/Transport SchemesSAYE (Save As You Earn Scheme)Pension access (Ask your HR Manager for local pension information)Development Opportunities through our Dalata Academy- support your career journeyStaff Appreciation Initiatives, fun team-building activities and regular charity eventsYour Job: Proactively generate inquiries for meetings and events for the team.Collaborate with both proactive and reactive sales teams to achieve the budgeted revenue for meetings and events on a weekly and monthly basis.Update the revenue board every week.Manage the payment structure for all events and attend weekly project management meetings.Contribute ideas and activities to boost revenue for the quarterly and annual sales and marketing plan.Conduct site inspections of the property with potential clients.Manage feedback from "Trust You" and all client interactions, coordinating with other departments as necessary.Negotiate with clients to maximize revenue and profit potential while meeting their needs.Finalize prospects as confirmed bookings and maximize revenue potential by upselling in all revenue-generating areas.Oversee third-party Cvent inquiries, which will be a key market in 2025.Manage larger residential conference bookings for groups of over 120 attendees.Review function sheets at the beginning of each week, collaborate with the team and make necessary amendments in time for the weekly function sheet meeting.What You Will Need: 1-year previous event sales or coordinating experience in a hotel or venue advantageous but not essentialExperience with Opera System advantageous but not essentialExperience within the hospitality industry advantageous but not essentialExperience working with customersAn excellent commandof the English languagePossess the ability to see an opportunity and act on it to secure revenue for the Hotel.Strong selling and interpersonal skills.About Us Dalata Hotel Group – we bringtheheartof hospitalityto every hotel we own and operate.
