We're Hiring: Employee Relations (ER) Specialist – UK & Ireland

, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping positive employment relationships across our UK and Ireland operations. As an ER Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for employee relations, supporting managers with pragmatic, inclusive, and legally sound advice.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and manage a variety of ER cases from start to finish, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability.
* Provide hands-on support for complex and high-risk cases, ensuring compliance with UK & Irish employment law.
* Partner with HR Business Partners on organisational change projects (e.g., restructuring, redundancy, TUPE).
* Coach and upskill managers through training and 1:1 support, enhancing capability and reducing risk.
* Maintain and evolve policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure legal compliance and operational effectiveness.
* Liaise with external bodies (ACAS, WRC, Employment Tribunal) and third-party providers (e.g., Occupational Health).
* Analyse ER metrics and trends, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic HR initiatives.
About You:
* Proven experience in high-volume ER case management within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong working knowledge of UK & Irish employment legislation.
* Skilled in handling sensitive and complex ER matters, including tribunal and WRC proceedings.
* Experience supporting change programmes and working within a shared service or centre of excellence model.
* CIPD qualified (or working towards it) – desirable.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
* Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
* Passionate about continuous improvement and collaborative working.
