Site Manager – Mechanical Projects

Rate:
£45–£55 per hour | 8+ hours/day – 1/2 years contract
We're looking for an experienced
Site Manager
to lead mechanical installation projects on a contract basis.
You'll manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate labour and subcontractors on site.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Track progress, maintain accurate site documentation, and report weekly.
Manage materials, equipment, and on-site resources efficiently.
Support quality assurance and project close-out activities.
Requirements
3+ years' experience in mechanical construction (5+ preferred).
Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
IT proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF) and ability to review drawings.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
