The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD, and migration projects. This is a senior, project-driven role where you will design, implement, and optimise cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for a wide range of clients.
You'll spend time both onsite and remote, leading cloud projects end-to-end while providing senior-level technical escalation support when required. You'll be a key contributor to client transformation initiatives, security improvements, and modern workplace deployments.
This role suits someone who enjoys technical ownership, variety, and working closely with customers to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead end-to-end Azure infrastructure deployments, optimisations, and migrations.
* Design and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure AD solutions including identity, security, compliance, and governance.
* Deploy and manage Intune / Endpoint Manager policies, device management, compliance, and application delivery.
* Architect, deploy, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
* Deliver tenant-to-tenant migrations, server-to-cloud migrations, and hybrid modernisation projects.
* Provide senior escalation support for complex cloud, infrastructure, and networking issues.
* Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and best-practice standards.
* Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
* Maintain clear documentation including designs, runbooks, and project handovers.
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support continuous improvement of our service offerings.

What We're Looking For
Must Have:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar senior cloud / systems engineering role.
* Full, clean driving license.
* Strong hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Azure – compute, storage, networking, identity, governance, automation
o Azure AD / Entra ID – identity, security, conditional access
o AVD – design, deployment, scaling, FSLogix
o Microsoft 365 – migration, administration, security, compliance
o Intune / Endpoint Manager – device configuration, policies, app deployment
o Server migrations – on-prem to Azure, hybrid AD, tenant-to-tenant
o Virtualisation – Hyper-V and/or VMware
o Networking – firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing
o Backup & DR solutions (Datto, Azure Backup, etc.)
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
* Ability to lead projects with autonomy and accountability.
* Full, clean driving licence.
Nice to Have (or we'll support you to achieve):
* Azure Administrator, Security Engineer, or Solutions Architect certifications.
* Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Logic Apps, etc.).
* Exposure to NIST, ISO27001, or similar security frameworks.
* Experience in MSP or multi-client environments.
