The successful candidate will work as part of team supporting the systematic integration of Quality and Safety throughout the service. Candidates will have:
* An academic award in Risk Management or Quality at Level 8 (or higher) on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework or equivalent and/or a professional qualification in a health related area.
* Minimum of 3 years proven experience and working knowledge in Quality, ideally in a clinical / healthcare setting that has involved quality and risk management as relevant to this role.
* Experience of leading / influencing change in an organisation and a proven track record in driving Continuous Improvement programmes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills and experience of delivering training programmes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with audit management/CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventative Action) management programs strongly preferred.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities / projects with competing priorities/deadlines.
* Clean full driver's licence as 25% travel between sites will be required.
* Experience of team management / development and ability to work equally well as part of a team or independently.
* A strong working knowledge of quality standards e.g. CHKS, JCI, ISO, HIQA and quality systems.
* In addition, candidates will be expected to be innovative, attentive to details and ability and willingness to work flexibly.
