Medforce Recruitment is currently seeking applications from Senior or Experienced Staff Grade Physiotherapists to join the Community Healthcare Network (CHN) teams in East Limerick and Ballina. These roles present an exciting opportunity to work with either adult or paediatric caseloads, delivering physiotherapy services within a progressive, community-based multidisciplinary setting. The successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, supporting clients to achieve optimal health and wellbeing outcomes. Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist: Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management of clients with a wide range of physical, developmental, or neurological needs. Deliver interventions across adult or paediatric populations, depending on experience and service requirements. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) that may include OTs, SLTs, psychologists, and social workers. Support health promotion and prevention initiatives within the community. Engage in discharge planning and care coordination to support integrated care pathways. Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical audit projects. Provide supervision and mentorship to students and junior staff (for senior-grade roles). Essential Requirements for the Physiotherapist: BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU). CORU registration as a Physiotherapist. Experience working with adult or paediatric populations in clinical, hospital, or community settings. Demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and client-centred rehabilitation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities. Access to own transport and full driving licence. Desirable Experience in Primary Care, CHN, or CDNT settings. Background in musculoskeletal, neurological, or developmental rehabilitation. Familiarity with interdisciplinary working and goal-setting frameworks.
