Our client, a respected semi-state organisation, is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their team based in Dublin, operating within a hybrid working model .
This role will provide in-house cost management support across a diverse portfolio of developments, covering the full development lifecycle from early feasibility through to delivery asset management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to cost and viability management.
Key Responsibilities Prepare order-of-magnitude cost estimates and development budgets for early-stage residential projects.
Carry out viability assessments and detailed cost modelling analyses.
Support the procurement of design teams and construction delivery partners.
Liaise closely with external consultants, building strong collaborative working relationships.
Contribute cost, value engineering, procurement, and affordability input at design team workshops.
Manage development budgets and monitor post-contract expenditure.
Review and assess external quantity surveying reports, cost plans, and financial documents.
Maintain and enhance internal databases, documentation, and cost management processes.
Requirements Degree or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying 10 years' relevant experience with a PQS, or developer company.
Experience in conservation works (preferred but not essential).
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Chartered status or actively working towards chartership (MSCSI / MRICS)
