The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Commissioning Manager
to oversee commissioning delivery from planning through to client handover on large-scale technical projects. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules and resources, ensure technical and safety compliance, and drive smooth, timely project completion.
This position is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys leadership responsibility, structured project environments, and international collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement project-specific commissioning strategies and execution plans.
* Manage commissioning programmes, resourcing, progress tracking, and reporting.
* Coordinate activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and vendor disciplines.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal management teams to maintain progress alignment.
* Review and sign off on commissioning documentation, risk assessments, and safety plans.
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and technical compliance.
* Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution during commissioning.
* Ensure thorough documentation and turnover packages for client acceptance.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to commissioning engineers and site teams.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large or complex industrial or technology projects.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
* Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, technical documentation, and safety standards.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Confident managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
* Willingness to travel or rotate across European project locations.
* Current right to work within the EU is essential.
