About the Job:
A leading global aircraft lessor is seeking a Head of Finance to join its Dublin office. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will lead an international finance team covering financial reporting, analysis, and tax. The role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining strong financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee preparation of financial statements under IFRS/GAAP
* Lead global audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
* Provide financial analysis and scenario planning to support executive decisions
* Manage global tax compliance and optimisation efforts
* Enhance financial operations, reporting, and forecasting capabilities
* Mentor and develop a geographically dispersed finance team
* Drive best-in-class processes and support business growth initiatives
Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant with substantial finance leadership experience
* Background in aircraft leasing or consulting
* Expertise in corporate reporting, analysis, and international tax
* Demonstrated experience managing global finance teams
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
* Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel
