Overview
Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Supply Planner to join an expanding Supply Chain team based in Dublin.
The Senior Supply Planner will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end supply chain planning processes ensuring close collaboration with suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and other external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage the supply plans ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and business objectives.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely production, shipment, and delivery of products, managing lead times and production schedules.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, quality, logistics, and customer service, to align production schedules and manage potential risks.
* Implement strategies to balance inventory levels across multiple regions, ensuring optimal stock positioning.
* Monitor performance through key metrics (OTIF, lead times, quality, etc.) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
* Work closely with demand planners to integrate demand forecasts into supply planning and ensure seamless production flow.
* Utilize demand data to anticipate potential capacity constraints and ensure sufficient flexibility within production schedules.
* Engage in S&OP meetings to align supply chain strategy with business objectives.
Key Requirements
* 4+ years’ supply chain experience with knowledge of supply planning and related aspects including scheduling, forecasting, demand planning and S&OP in a pharma environment.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
