Job Opportunity: RAMS Coordinator / Safety Advisor (Site-Based)
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented RAMS Coordinator to join our client's team full-time on site in Dublin. This role is central to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of construction activities by coordinating the preparation, review, and compilation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the coordination and compilation of site-based RAMS documentation.
* Engage with Package Managers, Safety Managers, PSCS, Supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather required inputs.
* Ensure RAMS are project-specific, accurate, and compliant with company and client safety requirements.
* Track RAMS submission, review, and approval processes to meet programme deadlines.
* Maintain a central register/log of RAMS and associated approvals.
* Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or delays in RAMS preparation and escalate as needed.
* Support site teams in understanding and implementing approved RAMS.
* Liaise with the Health & Safety team to ensure RAMS reflect current legislation and best practice.
* Provide guidance and support to site management teams in RAMS development and compliance.
* Participate in coordination meetings and report on RAMS status.
Requirements:
* Proven experience coordinating or developing RAMS in a construction or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and risk management principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple inputs and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and document control systems.
* Relevant safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) desirable.
* Experience on large-scale or complex construction/engineering projects.
* Familiarity with client-specific or sector-specific RAMS requirements.
