Who we’re looking for

This is a hands-on position responsible for delivering various aspects of the HR function, including:

* Caregiver recruitment and onboarding
* Probation management
* Absence management
* Employee relations
* Compliance
* Caregiver training
* Retention initiatives
* Maintaining employee records in accordance with legal standards


Traits & Abilities of the Successful Candidate

* Ability to collaborate with the national HR team to implement policies
* Provide HR and employee relations guidance to management
* 3-4 years of experience in HR roles
* Understanding of the homecare/healthcare sector in Ireland (preferred)
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Innovative mindset and initiative implementation skills
* Strong organizational and administrative skills
* Respect for confidentiality


Key Responsibilities


Recruitment:

* Conduct second-round interviews with pre-screened candidates
* Ensure timely onboarding of new caregivers
* Support national hiring events


Employee Relations:

* Serve as point of contact for employee queries and issues
* Manage offboarding processes
* Monitor sickness and unplanned absences
* Enhance employee relations, staff benefits, morale, and retention
* Handle investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and formal meetings


Employee Retention:

* Manage caregiver probation and gather feedback for process improvement
* Create and execute an employee engagement calendar
* Oversee appraisal processes
* Coordinate engagement events and promote surveys


HR Administration:

* Maintain compliant employee files and assist with audits
* Update HR policies and monitor compliance
