Known for consistently delivering high-quality projects above industry standards, they are now looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of a Junior Quantity Surveyor. This is a great opportunity for a driven QS with34 years' experience in the construction or civil engineering sectors to join a growing and reputable company and hit the ground running. The Role As Junior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Liaising with clients, project managers, and consultants Managing commercial and contractual relationships with subcontractors and suppliers Measuring, pricing, and negotiating budgets and variations Attending pre-contract meetings and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions Preparing and maintaining procurement schedules Issuing tender invitations, analysing quotes, and making recommendations Drafting subcontractor orders and assessing payment entitlements Site visits to measure and value completed works Monitoring project performance and reporting on cost/value reconciliations Collaborating with contract/site management teams to support project delivery What Were Looking For Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management 34 years' experience in a civils or construction background Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite A motivated, proactive team player with the ability to work independently when required For more information or a confidential chat about the role, contactAaron Fitzgerald atTalent-Curve Recruitment.
