Senior Estimator - Co.Kildare/Hybrid role
Salary: Up to €90k

Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates throughout project development stages.
* Collaborate with bid teams, designers, and consultants to develop competitive pricing.
* Produce tender documents, manage enquiries, and prepare cost summaries and risk registers.
* Support value engineering, feasibility studies, and provide input on cost-effective solutions.
* Use estimating software (preferably Candy) to build cost models from first principles.
* Participate in bid reviews, client meetings, and post-tender interviews.
* Ensure clear hand-over of successful bids to project delivery teams.
* Maintain up-to-date cost data and ensure compliance with corporate governance.
Role requirements:
* Degree (Level 8) in Engineering, Construction, or related field.
* Proven estimating experience in civil engineering (roads, bridges, rail, marine, or water).
* Strong knowledge of contracts, methods of measurement, and industry outputs.
* Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines.
* Commercially astute with strong communication and client-facing abilities.
* Experience with Candy software is an advantage (training available if needed).
