The Children and Young People's Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families.
The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs.
The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model.

Salary: €61,463 -€77,666* (lsi) *Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.
REF: 90910 This is an exciting pilot scheme to support children referred to the CDNT access supports from the CDNT in a timely manner and focus on providing enhanced supports at an early age.
Essential: Up to date NMBI Registration RNID preferred.
Have at least 5 years post registration nursing experience of which 2 must be within disability.
Have depth and breadth of experience in Children's Disability Nursing as relevant to the role.
Full clean driving licence manual vehicle.
Desirable: Recognized Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
Have previous experience at CNM1 level/ equivalent within the area of Disability.
Experience of Early Intervention Services prior to Progressing Childrens Disability Services Roll-Out Experience in the area of working with children with autism and complex healthcare needs.
Have the ability to work effectively with families and Interdisciplinary Team.
Be a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and the capacity to manage change.
