Site Agent Civil Engineering (Roads & Infrastructure) Location: Louth Salary: €70,000 €80,000 We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead delivery on a major road construction project in Louth, with a strong focus on earthworks and site works. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving performance on site and ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage site teams, including engineers, direct labour, and subcontractors across all earthworks and site works activities Drive project progress on site, planning and coordinating daily operations to maintain programme momentum Oversee Temporary Works design and coordination Take full ownership of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) compliance at all times Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures Work closely with the Project Manager to support day-to-day project delivery Provide input on constructability, cost efficiency, and overall project performance Maintain accurate and comprehensive site records in line with internal procedures Identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact programme, cost, resources, or safety Contribute to programme development, including master programmes, 6-week lookaheads, and short-term planning Coordinate and prioritise site activities to ensure efficient sequencing of works Deliver works in line with the project plan, ensuring timelines and budgets are met About You: Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally within roads or infrastructure Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent understanding of earthworks and site operations Confident in programme planning and short-term scheduling Committed to high standards of health & safety and quality This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile infrastructure project and play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.
