Our client,a fast-growing B2B SaaS companyoperating in the cybersecurity and payments space, is seeking to recruit aPart TimeAccounts Assistant/Part Qualified Accountantto join their expanding finance and accounting team inLongford. This client helps merchants, banks, and payment providers reduce cyber risk and meet PCI compliance requirements through a market-leading Merchant Management Platform.They are a multinational company who are now setting up their EMEA HQ in Longford, hence a very exciting time to join.This role is initially a 6 month temporary contract. It will be a part time role - it can be 5 half days or 3 full days, they can be flexible around start and end times.This role will support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the business, contributing to accurate financial reporting and efficient financial administration.Responsibilities:Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general financial administration tasksPerform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliationsAssist with month-end close processes, including reporting and preparation of annual and internal audit documentationSupport the annual budgeting processManage prepaid expenses and assist with accrualsAssist with bank reconciliationsMaintain and update the fixed asset registerRespond to general accounting and finance-related queriesSupport external audit requests and queriesContribute to finance-related projects as requiredProvide office and administrative support to the wider business when neededRequirements:Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business AdministrationAccounts Technician qualification or part-qualified accountant (preferred)Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper roleStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including advanced formulasExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work to strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbalTeam-oriented with the ability to work independently and use initiativeFor more information please contactNiamh Cregg
