Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a B-Con OSD Specialist Operations Engineer. The incumbent plays a key role in operations and must combine expert knowledge in manufacturing operations with good leadership ability. The incumbent must be self-motivated and have a proven track record in Operations. It is envisaged that the incumbent has minimum 3 years Manufacturing experience or equivalent. Continuously identifies opportunities for improving productivity to facilitate better than profit plan performance during the production year and increasing the sites capacity for future years.

What You Will Do

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

* Reporting to the B-Con OSD Operations Lead, the Operations Engineer provides day-to-day engineering support to the Operations Team in the area. The incumbent must bring energy, knowledge, innovation to this role.
* Lead and Manage the Operational Readiness program to ensure all requirements from each business functions for Operation Readiness Program are met for successful start-up of B-Con OSD facility in 2025.
* Develop, review and approval of all SOP’s/ SWI’s for Operations.
* Operations representative on Commissioning and Qualification of Continuous Manufacturing Module.
* Operations Representative on Containment Verification Team, ensuring containment verification steps are aligned with operations procedures.
* Develop the necessary training programs for Operations by membership of Potent Training Team.
* Complete all safety permitting approvals for High-Risk work during Operations start-up.
* Responsible for the development of HECP’s for equipment.
* Develop all the safety risk assessments for Operations.
* Responsible for deployment of fit for purpose & stage appropriate MPS with foundational structures in place from start-up.
* Develop the MPS roadmap and measure deployment Versus target.
* Provide technical/operational expertise on continuous improvement projects.
* GMP compliance – completion of factory walkdowns, completion of activities required for Licensing, – completion of factory walkdowns.

What Skills You Will Need

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

* Hold a Third Level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering or Science discipline OR, Relevant Manufacturing Formulation experience, preferably in potent formulation.
* Experience in facilities start-up
* Minimum 3 years industrial experience.
* Lean Six Sigma Certification an advantage.
* SAP/MES knowledge/experience.
* Project Management (not essential)
