Our client is a leading multinational financial services firm with a strong global presence and offices based in Dublin City Centre. They are seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role provides subject matter expertise, leads complex audit engagements, and contributes to risk assessment, strategic audit planning, and execution.Main Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and oversee audit activities across multiple business areas, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.Plan and execute complex audit engagements, including risk assessments and follow-ups on findings from internal and regulatory reviews.Act as a trusted advisor to business leadership, providing insights into emerging risks, industry trends, and operational improvements.Deliver clear, timely, and value-added audit communications to senior stakeholders and external auditors.Support the development and implementation of audit programs, policies, and procedures.Ensure adherence to internal audit methodologies, enterprise risk frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.Identify, assess, and escalate key control issues and emerging risks.Contribute to strengthening risk culture and governance processes across business lines.Participate in cross-functional initiatives to provide guidance on risk identification and control effectiveness.Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to audit teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Contribute to performance management and professional development of audit staff.Encourage knowledge sharing and promote industry best practices within the team.Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert for specialised areas of audit practice.Requirements:Professional qualification ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIA or equivalentCirca 2-3 years PQE within an in-house internal audit team (financial services)Proven ability to manage complex audits, lead teams, and influence senior stakeholders.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Package: Base salary between €85-95kBonusPensionHealthcareLong list of other bens including professional subs For more information or to apply please contact Simon Morris in Morgan McKinley via LinkedIn DM or Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Investment Banking, Banking, and Financial Services
