Limerick Travel are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Inbound team, providing vital administrative support and ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience from start to finish.
About the Role
As part of a collaborative and energetic team, you will contribute to the smooth delivery of administrative operations within the Inbound Tourism sector. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, from hands-on development of FIT and leisure business, customer service and sales support to data entry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service and support.
Please note that flexibility is essential. During peak season, some evening and weekend work will be required, along with participation in a weekend emergency phone cover rota. Willingness and ability to support this requirement is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
* Hands-on development of FIT and leisure business through client engagement, tailored proposals, and timely delivery of supporting materials and information.
* Provide outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
* Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
* Create tailored travel proposals to support sales efforts
* Follow internal processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
* Handle payments via credit card and cheque securely and accurately
* Provide feedback to the team to enhance offerings
* Maintain and update websites, social media platforms, and internal databases
* Collaborate with team members and share knowledge to improve workflows
* Take initiative to enhance the overall customer experience
* Offer weekend emergency telephone support as part of a scheduled rota
* Provide support & coverage when required to other group companies including
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) – essential
* Fluency in German – essential
* 1–2 years' experience in a customer service or administrative role
* Strong knowledge of Ireland's geography
* Confident communication skills – both verbal and written
* Excellent IT skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office
* Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* A collaborative team player
