Job Summary
A leading construction and engineering company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to play a key role in one of their major projects.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering functions and acting as the primary point of contact for technical leadership, quality assurance, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead engineering strategy and on-site technical control
* Provide oversight for setting out, QA, record keeping, and engineering deliverables
* Coordinate and manage temporary works and lifting operations
* Mentor and guide site engineers and graduates
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and safety protocols
* Develop and review Inspection & Test Plans, method statements and risk assessments
* Identify and resolve technical queries and RFIs
* Drive timely close out of non-conformances and maintain robust documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent)
* Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness
* At least 2 years of experience in construction site engineering, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
