Job Title: Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist & General Physician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist & General Physician to join our team on a temporary basis.
* This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week.
* Contract duration is temporary, covering secondments in the department.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in gastroenterology and general medicine, with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing complex cases, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* To perform procedures, surgeries, and other medical interventions as required.
* To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
* To stay current with best practices, research, and developments in gastroenterology and general medicine.
Requirements:
* Membership of the relevant professional body (e.g., GMC).
* Postgraduate qualification in gastroenterology or general medicine (e.g., MRCGP).
* Demonstrable expertise in gastroenterology and general medicine, with a strong clinical track record.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
