Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to lead the commercial project team in the Smithfield area, Dublin. This key leadership role involves managing diverse aspects of the project, ensuring high standards of delivery, safety, and commercial performance.
Duties:
* Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale projects, meeting time, budget, quality, and commercial goals.
* Build and manage effective project teams, fostering a positive and stable work environment to retain talent.
* Plan, update, and track project schedules regularly; coordinate multiple site and project managers for alignment.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all sites.
* Implement cost and value management procedures, delivering timely and accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership.
* Manage contractual matters, including documentation, changes, issues, and compliance.
* Provide guidance and training on contract management practices to project teams; contribute to company policies.
* Drive procurement efficiency and supply chain performance to support project delivery.
* Identify underperforming projects, develop corrective action plans, and provide operational feedback.
* Promote cost reduction and process optimisation across project areas.
* Ensure projects meet company standards for visual presentation, brand image, and operational compliance.
* Collaborate with Directors and Project Managers to mitigate risks, resolve challenges, and support business growth and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
* 3rd Level Degree or Trades Qualified
* Over 10 years of experience with main building contractors in Ireland or the UK
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously or large-scale projects

* Basic salary €110k -€120k DOE
