Bodyshop Administrator/Assessor
Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin
Northgate Ireland has been supplying and managing vehicles for businesses across Ireland for over 20 years. We continue to grow and dominate the light commercial vehicle market with depots in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
Our expanding network of branches and sizeable fleet enable us to deliver vehicles quickly and keep them on the road longer by minimizing downtime. Our fleet includes light commercial vehicles from leading manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz, Ford, Opel, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
Due to our growth, we have a full-time vacancy within our Bodyshop team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with similar experience.
Role Overview
Responsible for processing all damages requiring Bodyshop assessment and repair, ensuring vehicle downtime aligns with KPIs, and maintaining no more than 2% of the Dublin fleet in Bodyshop at any time.
Key Responsibilities
* Take additional images of damaged vehicles as needed for damage packs.
* Upload damage packs to shared drives.
* Perform quality checks on vehicles returning from repairs.
* Notify Workshop Manager of QC outcomes for repair approval or failure.
* Manage and monitor vehicles in Bodyshop.
* Manage damage packs, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
* Act as a point of contact for queries from Service Department and other departments.
* Provide training support to satellite branches as needed.
* Liaise with Asset Department for vehicle collection and movement.
* Ensure job cards are raised promptly and CAP is updated.
* Update customers on repair progress.
* Handle emails and correspondence.
* Communicate daily with external Bodyshops.
* Conduct weekly and monthly fleet audits.
* Maintain filing systems.

Person Specification - Education, Qualifications, and Training
* Leaving Certificate including Maths & English or equivalent.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle panels and maintenance.
* Experience in a Bodyshop at any capacity.
* Proven customer service skills and relationship building.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
* Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
* Team player adaptable to change.
* Experience in vehicle rental or motor industry preferred.
* Body shop, warranty, or workshop experience desirable.
* May suit an apprentice mechanic or panel beater interested in an administrative role.
