Purpose Of The Role:
The Junior IT Coordinator (ITC) is responsible for first level IT support for their branch including all external offices linked to the branch as well as the main contact for the Corporate IT. The ITC is a key role, that is part of the UKI Head Office team and primarily solves the IT relevant problems of their own branch, if necessary, by involving the appropriate IT Service Desk, which call in the technical groups. Secondarily the ITC will interact with the other UK & Ireland ITC's and support other branches in the UK & Ireland when needed. In order to be able to fulfil these tasks, the ITC is trained by the individual groups of the Corporate IT, continuously informed about improvements and supported if necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* First contact point for consulting and support of all IT topics
* Tech leadership role in matters concerning IT
* Procurement, configuration, and maintaining IT Infrastructure (Access Points, WAN), Hardware (PC, Notebook, Phones, Monitors, Printers), and related software (Imaging of PCs, Administration)
* Manage user accounts, access permissions, and group policies through Active Directory.
* Training and advising of new and existing colleagues about IT topics, IT systems, IT procedures, and IT workflows as well as taking care of the IT know-how transfer.
* Responsibility for the entire lifecycle management of IT equipment.
* Responsibility for the IT matters of customers Business Integration, EDI, API consultation, Dachser Platform set up and support.
* Ensuring the ongoing operation of all IT-related duties in our branches
* Implementing IT-guidelines and procedures
* Assist in setting up new offices and project sites, including device and network configuration.
* Training and knowledge transfer of IT topics for employees (and external customers)
* Collaborate with IT and non-technical departments to implement solutions, taking a key user leadership role, assisting in areas that support the outcome of key business goals.
* Project and administrative management, (Plan & Execute IT Projects as well as in other areas when required; Corporate IT (Hardware rollouts, new software implementations, ITP Change) and branch projects (Branch moves, Warehouses)
* Digitalisation and optimisation of processes in cooperation with other departments
