Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Testing & Cutover plays a critical leadership role within Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) Systems, leading the global testing strategy for complex SAP S/4HANA releases, non-SAP ERP implementations, and DevOps, CI/CD pipeline deployments. This role leads global, cross‑functional teams and partners closely with business, IT, quality, compliance, data, and deployment stakeholders to ensure disciplined testing planning, execution, and release readiness. The position is responsible for establishing enterprise‑wide testing standards, governance, tools, and SDLC deliverables while driving consistency, transparency, and quality across releases, workstreams, integrated systems, and ecosystem applications. Success in this role requires a strategic leader who can standardize methodology, strengthen release discipline, and accelerate delivery through automation, AI‑enabled insights, and risk‑based practices in a highly regulated, global environment.
Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the global testing strategy for complex SAP S/4HANA releases, non‑SAP ERP implementations, and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment to program objectives, milestones, and go‑live readiness.
Lead global, cross‑functional teams across business, IT, quality, compliance, data, security, and deployment to drive integrated test planning, execution, issue resolution, and release readiness across ERP and DevOps workstreams.
Establish and govern enterprise‑wide testing standards, methodologies, and controls, including scope management, entry and exit criteria, traceability, defect management, phase‑gate approvals, and auditable evidence.
Own end‑to‑end test planning and execution across integration, end‑to‑end, business simulation, system integration, user acceptance, regression, and non‑functional testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and oversee the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across SAP S/4HANA, non‑SAP ERP platforms, connected systems, interfaces, data migration, reporting, and cross‑system business processes.
Build and develop a high‑performing global testing organization by defining the operating model, resource needs, and ways of working to support multiple releases.
Drive test automation and quality engineering strategies to improve speed, coverage, repeatability, and control across business‑critical processes.
Leverage AI‑enabled tools, automation, and analytics to improve test design, scripting, defect triage, root‑cause analysis, risk identification, trend monitoring, and KPI‑based decision‑making.
Partner with technology and functional teams to implement scalable testing tools, automation frameworks, and reporting solutions that enhance efficiency, traceability, and auditability.
Establish testing KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to provide clear visibility into readiness, defect trends, risk exposure, coverage, automation effectiveness, and release status.
Identify and manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts, escalating critical decisions and remediation actions as needed.
Ensure testing activities and deliverables comply with SDLC, validation, quality, and regulatory requirements, supported by complete documentation and auditable evidence.
Partner with cutover, deployment, and business readiness leaders to ensure testing outcomes support operational readiness, transition planning, and successful go‑live execution.
Drive continuous improvement by standardizing best practices, incorporating lessons learned, and advancing automation, AI‑enabled insights, and quality engineering across future releases.

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent).
Preferred: Additional academic concentration or formal training in Quality, Computer System Validation, Regulatory Compliance, Supply Chain Operations, or Program/Project Management is strongly valued.

Experience and Skills

8-10 years of experience leading testing, validation, release, or deployment activities within large‑scale ERP or enterprise transformation programs, including significant SAP environments.
Demonstrated experience leading end‑to‑end testing for complex SAP S/4HANA releases, non‑SAP ERP implementations, or major enhancements across multiple workstreams, regions, and integrated systems.
Proven experience defining and governing global testing strategies, methodologies, controls, and entry/exit criteria across integration, end‑to‑end, business simulation, user acceptance, regression, and non‑functional testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, test lifecycle management, defect management, release governance, and stage‑gate readiness practices in large, matrixed programs.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI‑enabled tools, automation, and analytics to improve test design, scripting efficiency, defect analysis, risk identification, reporting, and decision‑making.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑management capabilities, with demonstrated success identifying, prioritizing, mitigating, and escalating issues and dependencies.
Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and program risks into clear business implications and decisions.
