About Your New Job as an Area Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Executive, you will manage and grow regional sales across Dublin and the East Coast by engaging customers, building trusted client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
You will apply in-depth product knowledge to recommend the right solutions for customer needs, spanning high-quality roofing accessories and aluminium rainwater goods.
You will spend around 4 days per week on the road, covering all sales areas (with no fixed routes), and split your focus between:
Engaging with merchants (35%)
Promoting aluminium rainwater products to contractors and end-users (35%)
Handling pricing and administration tasks (30%)
You will develop tailored sales plans, monitor market activity, and represent the business at industry events.
The initial period includes no sales targets for the first 6 months, allowing you time to establish relationships and understand the market.
What Skills You Need as an Area Sales Manager
2+ years of experience in construction or building materials sales (ideally with roofing products)
Proven ability to drive sales, manage your pipeline, and close deals
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with merchants, contractors, and installers
Hands‑on, practical approach and willingness to engage with customers onsite—including obtaining a Safe Pass, and wearing a hard hat and boots when needed
Strong organizational skills, able to plan sales activity and keep accurate records using CRM tools
Self‑motivated, independent, and able to travel regionally (valid driver’s license required)
