About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Account Manager to help cultivate and grow a strategic telecom client relationship in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Electronics and Communications Engineering, 3-6 years of experience in the software industry and working knowledge of BSS/OSS architecture in the telecom domain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the telecom client in Ireland, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
* Understand client needs and translate them into actionable technical and business solutions.
* Leverage your technical background to bridge communication between client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
* Drive account growth through proactive relationship management, upselling, and identifying new opportunities.
* Monitor project delivery, timelines, and quality, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
* Provide insights on telecom trends and BSS/OSS architecture to support client strategy and innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Telecommunication and Wireless Systems or a related field.
* 3-6 years of experience in the software industry, preferably in telecom-related projects.
* Exposure to BSS/OSS systems such as CRM, Billing, Order Management, and Network Operations.
* Have a good understanding of cloud, AI/ML, web, and automation technologies and willingness to learn new technologies.
* Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel to Ireland as needed for client meetings and relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience managing telecom accounts or working with telecom service providers.
* Familiarity with Irish telecom market dynamics and regulatory environment.
* Experience with Agile delivery models and cross-functional team collaboration.
