Summary of This Role
This is a hybrid position that will include 3 days from our Dublin city centre office and 2 days working from home.
Fantastic opportunity to join a newly established team within our BOI Payment Acceptance CS&S & Retentions Org.
We're seeking someone with a proven track record in leading sales/retentions teams with a passion for coaching/mentoring and leading from the front.
This is an exciting time to come in and assist in building this team from the ground up.
Support our Back Book Sales team & Retentions Manager and responsible for market penetration through campaigns that deliver incremental revenue from existing clients.
Defines and communicates the sales process and the sales effectiveness drivers.
Leads induction courses for new reps and collaborates with L&D to identify and deliver ongoing training/ coaching to the wider Customer Success organisation.
What Part Will You Play?
Support the Retentions Manager with the day-to-day management of our Back Book Sales team
Ensure delivery of sales targets for above team through effective and regular Sales training and coaching
Lead Coach and train for all new and existing sales staff across the team
Ensure training materials are kept up to date and work with L&D on further enhancing sessions/ materials
Works collaboratively with all Customer Success support channels to ensure a positive client experience through the delivery of unparalleled service
Undertake Back Book Sales related projects as directed by Customer Success Leadership
Works collaboratively with Customer Success leadership, product development and client support to ensure early adoption of all assigned company initiatives.
Provides input to leadership regarding business intelligence, departmental effectiveness, process improvements and growth opportunities.
Additional adhoc duties when required
What Are We Looking for in This Role?
Relevant Experience or Degree in related field of study from an accredited university is preferred.
Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
Typically, a minimum of 4-6 years working in a Sales/ Retention organisation
Related professional experience and prefer a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leader position (Preferably leading a team responsible for upselling to existing customers)
Experience coaching sellers, leading from the front
Desired Skills and Capabilities
Strong coaching capability with the ability to analyse sales calls and provide clear actionable feedback
Deep understanding of consultive and solution-based sales techniques
Ability to identify performance/ skill gaps and implement structure coaching plans
