Purpose of the Post: The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based, integrated care for adults with addiction issues specifically alcohol.
The purpose of the role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community.
Case load
The CNM2 will focus on adults over 18 years of age who are
1) Referred to the service for assessment and
2) Known to the service and are experiencing substance misuse issues / mental illness.
The purpose of this Clinical Nurse Manager 2 post in Addiction care is to:
Deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialists posts, 4th Edition, National Council for the Professional development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) ****.
