We are seeking an experienced
Freelance MEP Project Manager
to join a fast-track, technically complex construction project in Ireland with an immediate start available.
This role is ideal for a someone with a strong track record delivering large-scale, high-specification projects involving modular and prefabricated MEP systems in mission-critical environments.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for managing Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) packages from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading all on-site MEP activities
* Managing specialist subcontractors and coordinating with design teams
* Overseeing integration of prefabricated and modular services
* Driving commissioning strategy, testing and system validation
* Managing programme sequencing and mitigating risk
* Commercial oversight of MEP packages including variations and cost control
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience delivering large-scale, fast-track construction projects
* Strong background in data centre, pharma or other mission-critical environments
* Experience managing significant MEP packages with complex commissioning requirements
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and standards
* Excellent leadership, programme management, and stakeholder communication skills
