We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with sheet-metal experience to join our team. This role offers strong career progression opportunities.Key Skills & RequirementsCAD Expertise - Autodesk Inventor (experience with Keyshot, Adobe Suite is a plus)Design for Manufacture - Optimizing designs for productionConcept Generation - Developing innovative product solutionsCost Analysis & Process Improvements - Enhancing efficiency and reducing costsSheet Metal Design - Creating precise, high-quality designsRole ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the management team to develop innovative product solutions.Interpret client briefs and deliver high-quality designs within tight deadlines.Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring projects are completed on time.Create 3D CAD models, prototypes, and test rigs to refine concepts .Ensure design intent is maintained from concept through to production.Manage multiple projects and liaise with clients efficiently.Generate CNC programs for laser cutting using Bodor Nest (training provided).Handle material specifications, ordering, and cost analysis .Maintain documentation and quality control standards .Qualifications & ExperienceDegree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).2+ years' experience in a design-for-manufacture role.Portfolio of past work demonstrating end-to-end project execution.Strong engineering drawing interpretation & creation skills.Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).Desirable but Not EssentialKnowledge of various materials (metal, glass, wood, plastics, etc.).Familiarity with CNC press brakes, laser cutting machines, and manufacturing software .Salary:€40,000.00-€50,000.00 per yearJob Type:Full-time, Permanent
