Job Overview
As a Plumbing Sales and Showroom Manager, you will lead our plumbing department and showroom team in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing products and solutions, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the plumbing showroom, ensuring it is well-presented, stocked, and customer-ready at all times.
- Work closely with trade and retail customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice and product recommendations.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, close sales, and manage the customer journey from enquiry to after-sales care.
- Organise showroom events, product launches, and promotions to drive footfall and engagement.
Customer and Account Management:
- Build strong relationships with installers, plumbers, contractors, and self-build customers.
- Handle key customer accounts and ensure all clients receive a high level of service and support.
- Manage customer complaints or escalations professionally and in a timely manner.
Buying and Stock Management:
- Support the buying team by selecting ranges that meet market demand and reflect current trends.
- Liaise with suppliers on pricing, promotions, and delivery times.
- Monitor stock levels, manage showroom display products, and ensure strong availability.
Team and Reporting:
- Monitor performance against sales targets and KPIs; deliver regular reports to senior management.
- Train and develop team members, including product knowledge, sales skills, and system use.
- Work closely with the branch team on overall sales strategy and operational efficiency.
