We are working with a global life sciences company to recruit an Equipment Engineer to support syringe inspection equipment within a high-performing biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring operational readiness, implementation, and ongoing support of inspection systems. Working as part of the Engineering team, you will play a key role in equipment startup, validation, and lifecycle management. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Support syringe inspection equipment across manufacturing, including setup, validation, and ongoing operation.
Contribute to manufacturing readiness activities, including system startup and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage equipment deliverables such as spare parts, functional testing, and sustaining engineering support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, etc.) to ensure successful project execution.
Develop maintenance strategies and implement preventive maintenance programs for process equipment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in engineering projects and systems.
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements within biopharma manufacturing.
Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in equipment/vendor management and deployment of new technologies.
Background in biopharmaceutical formulation, fill/finish, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
This is a 12 month contract, with 2-3 days per week onsite in South Dublin.
