The appointee will report to the Head of Operations. Please note that the scope and reporting line for this position may be subject to change under Project Connect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Operations Department and Admissions Team within RCPI.

Admissions
* Develop and implement strategies for national recruitment and selection of postgraduate training candidates.
* Drive and manager adherence to admission policies and standards with ongoing review linked to best practice standards.
* Oversee the coordination process with training specialties to align recruitment processes with educational requirements.
* Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and outcomes in conjunction with the Senior Programme Coordinator, Admissions
* Oversee and provide leadership on the conversion process for international applicants, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with visa regulations.
* Build strategic partnerships with international educational institutions and agencies.
* Oversee annual careers, induction, and onboarding events.
* Create a culture that supports the provision of team wide operational support at high volume points in the year.
Recruitment and Selection for Post-CSCST Fellowships
* Oversee and act as SME for the annual Fellowship call for development and funding process.
* Lead the recruitment and selection process for appointments to post-CSCST fellowships.
* Develop and implement selection criteria and processes.
Operations Management
* Design and streamline admission processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
* Manage the admissions team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
* Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
* Lead and motivate the admissions team to achieve departmental goals.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Provide professional development opportunities for team members.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaborations.
* Communicate effectively with universities, the intern network, RCPI training stakeholders and faculty, and external partners.
* Represent the institution at recruitment events and conferences.
* Develop and execute strategic plans for the admission department.
* Align admission strategies with the overall goals of the institution.
* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of admission strategies and make data-driven decisions.
* Workstream budgetary management in conjunction with the Head of Operations.
Maintenance of the Master Schedule
* Oversee the creation and maintenance of the master schedule for all education and training related activities.
* Ensure timely updates and distribution of the schedule to relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor the schedule for conflicts and resolve them efficiently.
* Define and lead an annual scheduling process encompassing relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will have fiveyears' experience in a comparable education environment, with experience in admissions and onboarding desirable:
* A third level qualification.
* Change champion.
* Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills with the ability to drive consensus among various internal and external stakeholders.
* Self-starter, proven leadership, and team-oriented skills.
* Excellent ICT Skills (MS Suite, Quercus, and Kaizen), strong report writing skills and an appreciation of IT systems and solutions.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability together with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
* Experience in postgraduate education recruitment is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of national and international recruitment processes.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
* Proficiency in using admissions and CRM software.
* Knowledge and experience of business management and financial management.
* Clear track record of a high level of attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and planning skills feeding into strategic and business planning.
* Proven track record of managing projects to completion.
* Proven track record on complex stakeholder management.
* Practical experience of preparing business plans, programme plans and budgets.
* Proven ability to implement strategy to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
