Linen Service Role Overview
Elis provides a comprehensive textile rental and laundry service to various sectors. Our services include clothing, chefware, cloths, mats, mops, bed and bath linen, and hygiene equipment for public toilets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage, deliver and collect stock on the wards, ensuring efficient inventory control.
* Collect soiled linen in line with agreed infection control guidelines, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
* Document daily service issues and complaints, providing timely resolutions.
* Liaise with on-site supervisors, fostering strong working relationships.
* Build positive relationships with customer staff by addressing their queries and requests efficiently and politely.
* Conduct daily stock checks, responding promptly to any discrepancies.
This role involves working 7 days every 2 weeks, one week on and one week off, with flexibility to cover holidays and sick leave.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Familiarity with infection control guidelines.
* Ability to lift and move stock as required.
