The Opportunity
JDM Products is a leading distributor of consumer electronics and technology brands across Ireland and the UK. We are now looking to recruit an experienced
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to drive growth across our
Consumer Electronics portfolio
in Ireland.
This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone who understands how the CE market really works, from retailer negotiations and range reviews to forecasting, sell-through, and margin management.
Key Responsibilities
●
Own and grow a defined portfolio of CE brands across Irish retail and etail channels
●
Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, buyers, and decision-makers
●
Drive new business opportunities, listings, and range expansions
●
Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, and annual agreements
●
Work closely with internal sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams
●
Build and maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and pipeline reporting
●
Act as the commercial link between brands, retailers, and internal stakeholders
●
Represent JDM professionally in the field and at industry events
What We're Looking For
●
3-5 years' experience
in a Business Development or Account Management role within the
Consumer Electronics industry
●
Strong understanding of Irish retail and distribution dynamics
●
Commercially astute with a proven ability to close and grow accounts
●
Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
●
Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously
●
Full, valid Irish driving licence - essential
●
High-level English proficiency - essential
