Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of HV/MV electrical projects from planning through to commissioning. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage complex, safety-critical projects to successful completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and deliver HV/MV electrical projects on time, within scope and budgetDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, risk registers, and delivery strategiesControl project budgets, resources, contracts, and financial performanceLead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and external stakeholdersEnsure full compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and SHEQ requirementsCoordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activitiesIdentify, assess, and mitigate technical and commercial risksProvide accurate reporting on progress, KPIs, costs, and programme to senior managementDrive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teamsSkills & CompetenciesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsDecisive, action-oriented, and results drivenHighly organised with strong attention to detail and record keepingResilient and capable of working under pressureCollaborative team player with proven leadership capabilityRequirementsHV experience is an advantage but not essentialGood working knowledge of electrical testing equipmentProven ability to manage all aspects of project deliveryEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related disciplineLicences & CertificationsSafe PassFull driving licenceProfessional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CEng, or equivalentExperienceMinimum 10+ years' project management experience within HV/MV electrical engineeringStrong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical standardsExperience delivering substation, transmission, and distribution projectsProficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)Strong financial and commercial management experienceDemonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to travel to project sites as requiredExperience in renewables, grid modernisation, or smart grid projects is desirableFamiliarity with digital project management and reporting systemsISO / SHEQ ResponsibilitiesWork in compliance with the company ISO Management System and documented proceduresMaintain accurate records and complete all required documentationApply SHEQ policies in all aspects of workContribute to achieving company objectives and continuous improvement initiatives
