About the Role:
This leadership position oversees civil and environmental design teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, while maintaining quality standards. Key responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities and client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Oversee civil and environmental design teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, while maintaining quality standards.
* New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and client relationships.
* Mentorship: Mentor and guide both senior and junior team members to foster professional growth.
* Technical Reporting: Create comprehensive technical reports and prepare detailed tender documentation.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Owners to effectively plan and manage design workflows.
* Quality Assurance: Uphold quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Advanced qualification (Level 8 or Level 9) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
* Credentials: Chartered Engineer credential.
* Experience: Minimum 15+ years career experience in the design and project leadership.
* Skill Set: Proven track record of multi-disciplinary design management experience.
* Business Growth: Demonstrated business growth achievement.
* Financial Management: Financial oversight expertise in budget creation and management.
