Your new role

Your new role
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Architect to oversee a large scale project based in Galway. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role. The Site Architect will work closely with our Project Architectural Team, and Client Representatives, ensuring the works are executed in accordance with the Works Requirements, to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* You will assist the Project Architectural Team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards are being achieved on the site, including carrying out daily site inspections of the works, recording project status, issues to be addressed, and quality standards to be achieved.
* Act as the primary point of contact for the client’s site representatives, maintaining strong, professional relationships and effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and solutions.
* Monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and assist the Project Architectural Team in resolving any on-site issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the design team including civil, structural, M&E engineers, landscape architects to deliver integrated project solutions.
* Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure all construction activities comply with the Works Requirements, Building regulations and standards, and environmental standards.
* Prepare monthly reports for inclusion in the Lead Architect’s monthly report.
* Record all site inspections in a timely manner and regularly review the remedial processes carried out by the contractors and their representatives.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must have previous experience monitoring and managing the design process on an active construction site and coordinating with multiple contractors and clients. You must have a degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Structural Engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive and solution-oriented approach are essential.
