Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Foreman specializing in Loft and Attic Conversions to lead residential projects across County Meath. You will be responsible for overseeing the transformation of underutilized attic spaces into high-quality living areas, ensuring all structural, safety, and aesthetic standards are met.This is a "working foreman" role, requiring a mix of high-level carpentry skills and on-site team management.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Supervise a crew of carpenters and laborers, providing clear technical direction and ensuring daily targets are met.Structural Execution: Lead the installation of floor joists, steel beams (RSJs), roof alterations (dormer or Velux), and partition walls.Subcontractor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for electricians, plumbers, and plasterers to ensure seamless project flow.Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work aligns with architectural drawings and building regulations.Safety Management: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, including the maintenance of a clean and organized workspace.Client Liaison: Provide progress updates to homeowners and address any on-site queries professionally.Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum of 5+ years in carpentry, with at least 2 years specifically focused on attic or loft conversions.Leadership: Proven experience managing small teams or acting as a lead hand on residential sites.Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of roof structures, insulation requirements, and Irish building standards.Certifications: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.Logistics: Full, clean Irish driving license and your own professional toolkit.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Company vehicle and fuel card.Consistent local work in local area.Opportunity to lead high-spec, bespoke renovation projects.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €48,461.82-€74,611.79 per yearWork Location: In person
