Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client, (a well know reputable Nursing Home group in Ireland) has an exciting opportunity for EU Passport Holders to take up a full-time position in their nursing home in north Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
* Diploma / bachelor's degree in nursing
* Minimum of 6 months post graduate nursing experience
* Full NMBI registration or at the end of the registration process
* Good level of English
* Previous experience in elderly care or a nursing home setting is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Commitment to providing high standards of care and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred care to residents in accordance with best practice and regulatory standards.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
* Monitor and assess residents' health status and respond to changes promptly.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, and care assistants.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records and care plans.
* Support residents with daily activities and promote independence where possible.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and NMBI guidelines.
* Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development.
* Provide leadership and guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff.
