Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics
My client is a global medical device company and one of the world’s leading health‑care suppliers, ranking in the Top 20 of Medical Devices Companies. We are hiring for a full‑time permanent role in the Leinster Territory.
Role Overview
As a Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics you will maintain an existing customer base and be an integral part of the sales team, providing clinical support for strategic accounts across Leinster.
Core Responsibilities
* Provide in‑theatre support to consultants and nursing staff on orthopaedic implant systems.
* Distribute accurate information on products and their indications to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff.
* Organise and facilitate educational/clinical advice to customers in acute settings.
* Deliver first‑class service and seamless supply to customers, including implant system training, stock checks, timely deliveries, and support to ensure surgical procedures proceed successfully.
* Represent the company and its products in a professional manner.
* Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts/customers.
* Keep abreast of market developments and trends, monitoring competitor activity and providing feedback to the Aesculap Business Lead.
* Monitor clinical satisfaction and needs of prospective and existing customers.
* Deliver education and training in group and individual formats – in hospital settings, theatre and HSSD.
* Attend exhibitions and conferences nationally and internationally as required.
Requirements
* Clinical experience in orthopaedics.
* Experience in the operating theatre.
* Proven experience building customer relationships.
* Knowledge of the local healthcare sector.
* Clean full driving licence.
* Willingness to travel regularly throughout Leinster and further as required.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
