The position is a backfill role and sits within the PMO, reporting to a Senior Project Manager.The successful candidate will spend approximately 60% of their time managing, mentoring, and coordinating a team of Document Controllers, while also remaining hands-on with document control activities. A key focus of the role is the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of document control workflows, processes, and standards across multiple projects.This role isfully on-site in Dublin 12, five days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Document Controllers, including workload planning, resource coordination, training, and ongoing supportEstablish, implement, and maintain consistent document control workflows, processes, and standards across project teamsAct as the point of contact for document control within the PMO, working closely with project managers and internal stakeholdersMaintain robust document management practices, including version control, traceability, and structured recordsManage and optimise the use of document control systems and CDE platforms (e.g. ACC, Viewpoint, AppKeep or similar)Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time from project initiation through to handoverDrive continuous improvement in document control practices, aligning with industry best practice and quality standardsSupport audits and compliance activities, including adherence to ISO 9001 requirementsExperience / RequirementsIdeally 5+ years' experience in document control, with flexibility for candidates with slightly less experience who bring strong people management skillsProven experience managing or supervising document control teamsDemonstrated ability to set up and improve document control workflows, processes, and standardsExperience working across multiple projects and document management systemsFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and quality management environmentsBackground in construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated industries preferredStrong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsConfident user of digital document control platforms and IT systemsAbility to work on-site in Dublin 12, five days per weekPlease note:Candidates must already be based in Ireland and within commuting distance of Dublin 12No relocation support is availableVisa sponsorship is not offered; candidates must have the right to work in Ireland (Stamp 1G considered, with details provided)Remuneration PackageSalary range: €60,000 – €65,000, depending on experience and suitability
