Title: Parts / Service AdvisorPurpose of the Role: To Work as Part of The Service Team to Ensure the Continuous Mobility of Our Fleet. Strong Emphasis on Parts & Management of Stock Levels, From Time to Time You May Need to Liaise with Drivers & Clients to Determine Problems with Vehicles. Manage Driver Queries Such as Service Bookings, Breakdowns & General Vehicle Care Advice. Broad Vehicle Knowledge Is a Minimum Requirement to Ensure We Provide the Best Level of Attention to Our Drivers & Clients. The Role Balances Customer Satisfaction, Compliance & Workshop Profitability, While Maintaining Effective Communication Between Technicians, Parts Suppliers & Management.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Working As Part of a Team, Process All Tasks Efficiently.Providing A High Level of Service to Meet Both Technicians & Customer's Parts Requirements.Ordering, Tracking, Receiving & Identifying Stock & Checking in Goods from SuppliersStore Items in An Orderly & Accessible Manner in Parts Department & Ensuring Accurate Identification of PartsHandling Parts Enquiries in Person, By Telephone & By EmailCommunicate & Translate Customer Requests to Service Providers.Daily Update of Internal Systems.Ensure Vehicle Downtime Is Kept to An Absolute Minimum.Accurately Communicate & Update Drivers Where Required.To Undertake Any Reasonable Role Related Duties Which May Be Required from Time to Time by Line Manager.Skills and Knowledge· Experience Within a Motor Dealer, Vehicle Manufacturer Environment as Advisor,· Service Advisor or Parts Advisor or Similar.· Excellent Numeracy & Literacy Required.· Experience Working in an Office Environment & Dealing with External & Internal Customers· Ability To Solve Problems & Deal Professionally with Unplanned Events.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:On-site parkingEducation:Leaving Certificate (preferred)Experience:Similar role in a similar industry: 2 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driver's Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
