Our client,
a multidisciplined engineering and environmental consultancy, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Mayo.
The successful candidate will work across a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, energy and pharmaceutical. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and management of a range of projects, in conjunction with the wider team. Provide guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 6 years' post-graduate experience in structural and civil engineering project design and management
2. Chartered status or actively working towards becoming Chartered
3. Extensive independent experience across structural, civil, renewable energy, and civil infrastructure projects, including design and construction supervision
4. Proven experience leading, managing, and executing structural and civil engineering design projects across diverse market sectors
5. Developing leadership abilities in areas such as business development, client management, technical guidance, team building, and motivation
6. Strong technical proficiency in all engineering-related disciplines
7. Solid understanding of Eurocodes, steel and concrete design, with expertise in SCIA or similar analysis software
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills
9. Ability to manage projects of various scales for a range of client needs
10. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
11. Proven capability to meet strict project deadlines
12. Design and build project experience is an asset
